Battery Service

Instructions to have the robot present a battery in the hallway for service by a technician.

  1. Select “System Health” on the HMI

  2. Select “Rack #” where “#” is the rack where the battery you would like to service is located. The system may prompt you to log in if you are not already logged in.

  3. Select the battery you would like to service.

  4. Select “Service Battery”

  5. Press the flashing button to service.

  6. Once the battery is paused in the hallway, press the “Emergency Stop” button next to the HMI.

  7. Open Rack 1 and flip the teach pendant into “Teach” mode.

  8. Remove the key and take it with you when you service the battery.

    • a. This will ensure that the robot is not able to be put back into an automatic state except by you.
  9. Service the battery as needed.

  10. Check battery to make sure it is ready to be placed back in a sleeve. 11. Exit the Hallway

  11. Return key into teach pendant and flip back to “Repeat” mode.

  12. Close the rack doors.

  13. Return the battery to sleeve by releasing the “Emergency Stop” button (if applicable) and pressing the green button.
