LOTO Procedure
Introduction
This Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure is designed to ensure the safety of all personnel involved in the maintenance and servicing of the PowerHive system. This procedure must be followed to prevent accidental startup or release of stored energy, which could cause injuries or fatalities.
Responsibilities
- Authorized Personnel : Only trained and authorized personnel are allowed to perform LOTO procedures.

- Lockout/Tagout kits (including locks, tags, and hasps)

Preparation
Emergency Situations
- If an emergency requires the removal of a lock or tag by someone other than the person who applied it, follow the company’s emergency removal procedure, ensuring the safety of all personnel.
Documentation
- Maintain a log of all LOTO activities, including the date, time, personnel involved, and a description of the work performed.
Training
- All personnel must be trained in the LOTO procedure, the hazards associated with the PowerHive system, and the use of LOTO devices.
