The operator pressure pad is installed to the ground using the following steps:
-
Measure the pad from the primary rack as shown in Figure 116.
-
If using the new 103436 molded trim operator mat, the aluminum trim kit is not needed, and you can proceed to step 5.
-
Install the 4 aluminum edges and 3 of the plastic corners of trim kit around the pad and mark the holes at each corner with a marker as shown in Figure 117. The custom wire-exit corner piece (102741) should be installed in the front left corner closest to the fencing.
-
Remove the pad and trim kit.
-
Drill 1.5” deep holes at each corner hole location using a 5/16” concrete drill bit.
- a. If using the new 103436 molded trim kit, ensure you drill through the rubber molded edge and not into the main mat.
-
Tap the plastic sleeves into the new holes.
-
Reinstall the pressure pad and trim kit, lining up the trim kit holes with the newly drilled holes.
-
Secure the entire assembly using the concrete screws at each corner as shown in Figure 118.
-
Connect the QTY 2 – M8 cables to the pressure pad and route up to the side of the main LV box as shown in Figure 119.
