The operator pressure pad is installed to the ground using the following steps:

  1. Measure the pad from the primary rack as shown in Figure 116.

  2. If using the new 103436 molded trim operator mat, the aluminum trim kit is not needed, and you can proceed to step 5.

  3. Install the 4 aluminum edges and 3 of the plastic corners of trim kit around the pad and mark the holes at each corner with a marker as shown in Figure 117. The custom wire-exit corner piece (102741) should be installed in the front left corner closest to the fencing.

  4. Remove the pad and trim kit.

  5. Drill 1.5” deep holes at each corner hole location using a 5/16” concrete drill bit.

    • a. If using the new 103436 molded trim kit, ensure you drill through the rubber molded edge and not into the main mat.
  6. Tap the plastic sleeves into the new holes.

  7. Reinstall the pressure pad and trim kit, lining up the trim kit holes with the newly drilled holes.

  8. Secure the entire assembly using the concrete screws at each corner as shown in Figure 118.

  9. Connect the QTY 2 – M8 cables to the pressure pad and route up to the side of the main LV box as shown in Figure 119.
