High Voltage Power Installation
This section should be started ONLY AFTER all previous installation steps have been completed.
Installation of 480V power should be performed by a qualified electrician only. Each rack requires a 250A, 480V, 3 phase power circuit for an estimated 195A peak draw. Power drop locations are the same for each rack and shown in the image below.

Electrical Connections

The HV panels come standard with a 2” knockout (and conduit fitting), as shown in Figure 19. This hole can be enlarged as necessary if using a hole punch.

The connections of the 4 conductors inside of the panel are shown in Figure 21 below. Torque the 3 phase conductors to the torque listed on the main breaker.

If hard conduit is to be run ahead of the racks being installed, it is recommended to install flexible conduit for the last 2-3ft to allow for installation variance in the final location of the racks.
