Installation Checklist

Locate and square robot plate on the ground using the nearest walls. Refer to installation drawing for correct plate orientation.

Using floor templates, mark the rack feet locations based off the robot plate location. Rack configuration will vary. Refer to installation drawing.

Lift and move racks into position marked on the floor. Refer to installation drawing for rack configuration.

Drill and install two (2) – 3/8” concrete anchors per rack foot.
-
Drill eleven (11) robot anchor holes using plate as drill guide.
-
Install concrete anchors using Hilti adhesive gun. Let adhesive cure a minimum of 1.5 hours before torquing anchor nuts.

Torque anchor nuts.
-
Lift and install robot onto base plate. See installation drawing for correct orientation.

Torque robot bolts.
-
Install fencing around system. See system level installation and fencing drawings for details.

Install hallway fencing (if applicable)
-
Install hallway wire tray.
-
Install robot opening wire tray.
-
Electrically connect primary rack to secondary rack (2 connection cables)
-
Electrically connect primary rack to additional secondary rack (if equipped)
Install safety system components (with wiring back to low voltage panel):

Hallway light curtains (installation will vary depending on post-mount vs wall-mount)
-
Align curtains with laser tool before covers are installed.

Hallway light curtain covers (varies by post-mount vs wall-mount)
-
Install plastic cable raceway along wall (if not installing hallway fence)
-
Robot light curtains
-
Two (2) floor scanners (installation will vary depending on rack layout)
-
Base of robot camera
-
IR blaster assembly
-
Hallway camera
-
External estop (opposite end of hallway from HMI)
-
Manual cart removable panel safety switch (see installation drawing for location)
Install remaining system electronics (with wiring back to low voltage (LV) panel):

Parking assist light (installation location can vary based on customer)
-
System health stack light
-
Three (3) red lights (2 across hallway, 1 across robot opening indicating path of light curtains)
-
Security cameras (typically one facing HMI, and one behind robot facing the robot opening)
-
Operator pressure pad (with perimeter trim kit)
-
Bundle all excess wiring neatly underneath LV panel
-
Install black covering along cable routing paths
Install robot connections:

Three (3) main robot cables
-
Robot communication cable
-
Pin presence cable
-
Rubber hose for air
-
Install cable covering along floor
Install final hallway and closeout components:

Hallway floor tape and various floor labels
-
Traffic flow and operator instruction placards on fencing/wall
-
Adhesive decals on light curtain covers
-
Rack outer closeout panels (varies by rack configuration)
